Why are some males so afraid to talk to girls while others are not?

I can converse with males easily. But when it comes to females, I don't say anything. And I really don't know why. Where does this possibly stem from? Please don't give me some similar situation in you're life because I really don't care.

1. You're probably intimidated by the girl's mentality. Not to sound like a sexist jerk or anything, but girls are more likely to be judgmental, superficial, gossiping drama queens and you probably know this sub-consciously and then get nervous when around females. Just remember, if they have any of those traits I named, it's because they're subconsciously insecure and don't even realize it, so just act normal, because if you're nervous, they'll sense it and in some cases take advantage of that or mess with your head
2. What do you feel when you approach a girl? Do you feel anxiety? Then maybe it's because you fear getting rejected (which most likely is due to low self-esteem). Or maybe you don't feel like you have any interesting subjects to talk about? All girls are different with different opinions and hobbies so there is always a girl out there that you can have an interesting talk with.
