What are some good books for young males to read while serving time in jail or prison?

I plan on sending some books to various prisons and jails for inmates locked up in these facilities. Could you give me the title of some good books for a young males btw the ages of (20-30) to read while serving time in jail or prison. Thanks!

Naomi Klein's "The Shock Doctrine"--it's a really interesting and informative book about governments exploiting natural and economic disasters, wars, coups, and other "shocks" to make profits for the multinationals (I still haven't finished reading it yet, but it's really good). The only thing is tha it's a pretty big and expensive book.
Unless you send the books directly to a named inmate, the likelihood of anyone actually getting the books is zero. Contact the facility Chaplain to see if he can give you the names of people who are active inside the prison helping inmates and running activities. Thank you for doing this, but please do not waste your very welcome effort unless you send these books directly to someone. 20-30 year olds in prison will read just about anything. Books on history and science are big, so are romance novels (believe it or not), westerns are always popular as well as science fiction and fantasy. Some do read the classics, but not many. Books on conspiracy theories and military operations are popular too. I remember finding a copy of Black Hawk Down and nearly fighting off everyone else until I could finish reading it; it went around the unit a dozen times.

You may want to see if the facility will except book donations to their library if they have one & ask them what types of books are popular. Some inmates are very avid readers and would want novels and other large books to help them pass the time.

Why waste your time and money? Prisons have well stocked libraries for prisoners to use if they wish. Have you ever considered doing something for victims? You are obviously a kind person but kindness can be misdirected sometimes.
