How often do you see adults or males cry?
I know that females and children cry emotionally more than males. I don't cry and I think that real men don't cry, because I was brainwashed that way. How often do you see adults or males cry? Would you ever marry someone who cries? If your spouse was cry, would you cheer them up or comfort them or something like that?

- Umm.. not too often. My gay friend cries though and when someone got seriously hurt they cried. Believe it or not most people cry and when they don't they just bottle it up and it comes out all together. That's how mental breakdowns happen. Of course I would marry someone who cries and cheer them up :)
- i would never marry a man who didn't cry.
- I'm 48 years old and I cried when my mother died in 2006/my best friend passed away in 2004 and when my grandmother passed away in 2003. I also cried when one of my animals was diagnosed with a terminal disease and had to decide whether to keep them alive or put them out of their misery. My spouse and I have been together 25 years and she is very supportive.
- I've only seen my brother cry twice <both were after losing the state champs in soccer 2 yrs. in a row...> Adults, my mom all the time, my dad once when he found out his grandma died. I think crying is a sign of weakness so I have never cried in public.
- I DON'T SEE MEN CRY VERY OFTEN THAT DOESN'T MEAN THEY SHOULD NEVER CRY. THAT'S ALMOST LIKE SATING THEY SHOULD NEVER PEE. I SAW MY BOYFRIEND AT THE TIME CRY ONCE(CUZ I WAS LEAVIN HIM) IT ACTUALLY MADE ME THINK OF HIM AS MORE OF A MAN BECAUSE HE WAS REAL ENOUGH TO LET THAT EMOTION GO. AND HE WASN'T BEING GAY WITH IT. AS IN OVER DOING IT.
- Not often, i think it had to do with how your raised. As a kid i wasn't allowed to cry in public so now i never do, if i have reason to cry i cry alone in my room...not even with the family. I usually bottle things up like the rest of my family.
- Actually, it is the REAL men who do cry. And no i don't see it often. Seen my dad cry for the first time at my granddads (his father) funeral. Does that mean he's not a man? No, i don't think so. ANd yes i have seen hubby cry, at the birth of our children and when i told him we were having a girl, (our oldest) (they were happy tears). Again, does that make him any less of a man? No it doesn't. It is in my opinion that REAL men DO cry.
