Black versace suit jacket w/ jeans for a night on the town/club? Ladies/Gents opinions please? So I just turned 21 and am pretty new to the whole club scene. Im still in college and had an ID, but that only got me into crappy college bars usually. During the summer, my over 21 friends like to head go to Atlantic CIty a lot to hit the clubs. These places are usually really strict dress code, 25 dollar cover type places where you can't get a drink for under 10 bucks, and the girls are always very attractive, however unfortunately extremely superficial in regards to guys. My friends are all tall, bigger guys who can wear pretty much whatever will get them through the door, and still have every girl in the place interested in them. Being only 5'8 and fairly slim, I'm the smallest guy in my group of friends, and in my brief experience so far, the women don't even notice me when i'm out with them there...which I come to expect and accept...but I believe least better my odds with some effort. I think my only chance besides acting confident like I own the place...is dressing better than all of them. Do you think if Hillary dressed more fashioable should would have won? She wore ugly pantsuits everyday,,boring, people respond to women who dress fashionably, Hillary didnt embrace her feminity. i think she made a mistake there, would have been nice if she wors a beautiful versace dress with high heels or a prada suit -very classy with colors. She came across too butch- i think i turned both men and women off, what do u think?

I was came across this and I found it pretty interesting, hope you guys do, too :) May this be a reminder to myself and others inshallah ——————————————————————————- Ibnul-Qayyim Al-Jawziyyah (rahimahullaah) said: And mankind, with regard to their performance of prayer are in five levels: The First: The level of the one who is negligent and wrongs his soul: He is the one who falls short in performing wudhoo (ablution) properly, performing the prayer upon its time and within its specified limits, and in fulfilling its essential pillars. The Second: The one who guards his prayers upon their proper times and within their specified limits, fulfils their essential pillars and performs his wudhoo with care. However, his striving (in achieving the above) is wasted due whisperings in his prayer so he is taken away by thoughts and ideas. The Third: The one who guards his prayers within the specified limits, fulfils their essential pillars and strives with himself to repel the whisperings, thoughts and ideas. He is busy struggling against his enemy (Shaytaanor Satan) so that he does not steal from the prayer. On account of this he is engaged in (both) prayer and jihaad. The Fourth: The one who stands for the prayer, completes and perfects its due rights, its essential pillars, performs it within its specified limits and his heart becomes engrossed in safeguarding its rights and specified limits, so that nothing is wasted from it. His whole concern is directed towards its establishment, its completion and its perfection, as it should be. His heart is immersed in the prayer and in enslavement to his Lord the Exalted. The Fifth: The one who stands for the prayer like the one mentioned above. However, on top of this, he has taken and placed his heart in front of his Lord Azzawajall, looking towards Him with his heart with anticipation, (his heart) filled with His love and His might, as if he sees and witnesses Allaah. The whisperings, thoughts and ideas have vanished and the coverings which are between him and his Lord are raised. What is between this person and others with respect to the prayer, is superior and greater than what is between the heavens and the earth. This person is busy with his Lord Azzawajall, delighted with Him. The First type will be punished, the second type will be held to account, the third will have his sins and shortcomings expiated, the fourth will be rewarded and the fifth will be close to his Lord, because he will receive the portion of the one who makes his prayer the delight and pleasure of his eye. Whoever makes his prayer, the delight and pleasure of his eye, will have the nearness to his Lord Azzawajall made the delight and pleasure of his eye in the hereafter. He will also be made a pleasure to the eye in this world since whoever makes Allaah the pleasure of his eye in this world, every other eye will become delighted and pleased with him. (Source: Al-Waabil us-Sayyib) Now think about this, what level do you think you are in? Are you sure? Could be better, right? This is kinda scary. ——————————————————————————- Imagine going shopping and buying the most expensive Versace suit (for brothers) or the most expensive Louis Vuitton purse (for sisters). Then imagine not ever taking it out in public and showing it off. Rather, no one knowing that you owned that Louis Vuitton purse, Versace suit, Rolex watch, or Mercedes-Benz car. Such was the case of one of the pious predecessors of this Ummah. He bought amongst the most expensive clothes and these clothes were amongst the most beautiful and precious in his time, yet he never wore them in public. You may ask, “what did he do with them then?� Rather, this man wore these beautiful clothes when he stood in front of His Lord to pray in the night prayer when no one would see him except for His Lord, for indeed Allah (SWT) tells us in the Quran, “O Children of Adam! wear your beautiful apparel at every time and place of prayer� (Translation of the Meaning of the Holy Quran, 7:31). Indeed, we should beautify ourselves when we stand in front of our Lord. Now ask yourself, “what did I look like when I prayed fajr this morning?� And compare that attire with what you looked like when you last went to a dinner party you were invited to.

Do girls like 30ish guys looking young and alive or sincere and business like? I am thirty something, and I need opinions from the ladies out there. How do you want your man to look like at that age? I have my hair hi-light every two weeks and like to wear brandname clothes like Prada, Versace, FCUK...etc. together with a nice coat and sometimes, a suit, but nothing serious looking. But I have never worn jeans and rarely T-shirts. No tennis shoes, either. Not just my style. I am sure some of you, like bigmommaj70, believe in "what inside that counts" thing. But believe me, that is soooooo....wrong ! What you wear and how you wear on the outside, more than determine and tell people of who you really are. Clothes doesn't make a man? Well, it does not break one, either. What's wrong of trying to look nice ? I always told my sister to always look her best for her husband.
